Rana Mukherji is the Founder and Managing Director of Tara Hospitality, a hospitality-led management group shaped by 28 years of operating experience across luxury hotels, resorts, branded residences and private estates.
His career spans two of India's most exacting service cultures at the Oberoi and Regent, founding-team and pre-opening leadership for Fairmont and Raffles in Dubai, heritage-hotel management in Africa, and complex resort turnarounds — closing a 14-year Fairmont and Raffles tenure as Director of Operations in Canada. More recently he led hospitality for an owner-operator on Palm Jumeirah and provided fiduciary owner-side advisory to institutional hotel owners across EMEA.
Most recently he served as Cluster General Manager across a confidential UHNW portfolio in Abu Dhabi, leading 200+ multinational specialists through privacy, protocol, state events and a multi-million-dollar heritage CAPEX programme. That operating judgement is what he now places directly with owners through Tara.
