UAE / Hybrid work
Hybrid work is a revenue line: turning hotel space into a business address and work club
Remote workers, founders and small companies need a credible address, a desk and a meeting room more than they need a lease. Hotels already have all three.

The owner challenge
What is getting in the way
Lobbies, business centres and meeting rooms sit underused for much of the week, while a growing population of hybrid workers, freelancers and newly licensed companies pays elsewhere for flexible desks, meeting space and a registered business address. Owners rarely price this demand, because it does not fit neatly into rooms or food and beverage reporting.
The working agenda
Four moves to make the strategy operational
- Audit space by hour and day to find the capacity that already exists in lobbies, lounges, business centres and meeting rooms.
- Package tiered memberships — day access, dedicated desk, meeting credits and business-centre address services — where the licensing framework of the relevant free zone or authority allows it.
- Bundle the membership with the hotel's own services: gym and wellness access, dining credits, and preferred room rates for members' visitors.
- Report membership revenue, conversion to rooms and food and beverage, and space utilisation as its own line so the owner can see what the space now earns.
